I am a Professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science. My research interests are Bayesian machine learning, variable selection in high dimensional problems, data mining, non-linear models for complex data sets, spatio-temporal models, statistical models for multi-platform data integrations, Generative AI, and Markov chain Monte Carlo driven computational models.
I have a very strong interest in applications of my statistical models and tools in areas as bioinformatics, medical science, ecology, business analytics, biomedical engineering, nanotechnology and nanoscience.
I like to work on practical problems. So if you wish bring your data or problem to me, may be together we can do something cool!!!
